Professional Preparation Program for Superintendent Certification
Program DescriptionThe Preparation Program for Superintendent Certification is available to applicants with:
- a Principal (or Mid-Management) Certification
- one year of practical administrative experience
You are required to complete 18 hours of coursework as outlined in their degree plan. Each course includes field-based experiences, problem based learning and action research. A certificate of completion is issued after the student completes the required 18 hours.
Tuition and Fees*
eTuition: $705 per 3-hour course
Required Fee: $120 per 3-hour course
*Tuition and fees are subject to change without notice by action of the Board of Regents or the Texas State Legislature.
*This program only accepts applications in January, June and August start dates.
