Welcome to the Center for Online Doctoral Studies in Educational Leadership at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, where you can earn your Ed.D. in educational leadership in just eight semesters in an online environment. Because our doctoral program is designed to meet the needs of full-time working professionals, the convenience of online classes makes it possible to meet all of your responsibilities while earning your doctoral degree. Students are required to apply directly to the doctoral office. The College of Graduate Studies will only accept applications from doctoral students once they are accepted into the doctoral program.
Program Start Dates
Each online cohort begins in the Spring of each academic year.
The deadline to apply is Oct. 31 of the preceding year. For example, the deadline to apply for spring 2016 is Oct. 31, 2015.
