Program Description
Welcome to the Center for Online Doctoral Studies in Educational Leadership at Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas, where you can earn your Ed.D. in educational leadership in just eight semesters in an online environment. Because our doctoral program is designed to meet the needs of full-time working professionals, the convenience of online classes makes it possible to meet all of your responsibilities while earning your doctoral degree. The program offers four cognates: effective schools, diversity/multiculturalism, higher education, and technology.
Faculty members evaluate applications and accept students for cohorts that begin each fall and spring. We invite you to contact us to learn more about our program.

Students are required to apply directly to the doctoral office. The College of Graduate Studies will only accept applications from doctoral students once they are accepted into the doctoral program.
